Marlo’s Bakeshop is a brand inspired by founder Marlo’s grandmother’s beloved biscotti cookie recipe. After three years in business Marlo wasn’t seeing the growth she wanted in her retail business. LR Consulting conducted an audit on the shelf-stable cookie category to better understand the brand’s positioning, strengths and weaknesses. Based on the audit results, LR Consulting assisted the company in a re-brand initiative that included updated packaging, collateral and POS materials to better communicate the familiar brand story, striking a chord with consumers and retail buyers alike. Within six months, the company saw sales grow by 45% due to the rebrand.
